Need to overcome fear – check out my APC!

I conquered my fear of public speaking by following a plan that I use with my Mentoring Traders [2] to help them overcome their fear in trading. Of course, fear in trading is different than other fears. It is more insidious because it is more subtle than other fears. Fear in trading inhibits the way we make decisions and, thereby, can prevent us from ever attaining the success we want. Similar to the way the King overcame his inability to speak in public, I mentor traders to overcome their fear in trading by doing three things. I call this my APC:
- Admit what you fear
- Plan, Prepare and Practice your trading to build your skills; and, in the end you will
- Conquer your fear.
